Relay was a great success. Our school raised over $10,000 ! Great job everyone! We even had 2 Grand Club members: Connor Haggerty and Mrs. Oswald each raised over $1,000! Connor was the #1 fundraiser at the Urbana Relay and Mrs. Oswald was the #2 fundraiser for the Urbana Relay!
Pictures from McDonald Photography are available for sale as on Friday June 5, 2009. We had team pictures and a large group picture of all UMS participants taken. The photographer was there from most of the event so there are sure to be lots of pictures of our students. Pictures are being sold at a discounted rate PLUS a donation is being made back to Relay for each picture that is sold. So make sure you order your pictures. Click here for the flyer. 2010 Relay For Life is here!
We are ready to start fundraising for the 2010 Relay For Life. Date and Location TBA. Check back for updates. This year there are 3 requirements to stay in the Relay Club and attend the overnight event. Please see the attached letter/permission form for details.
Fundraisers!
We will have two fundraisers going on in October. Both were very succesful last year. First we have our 2nd Annual Kiss A Cow Contest. 22 teacher have volunteered. Jars will be placed in the cafeteria during lunch and will also be available during conference. Each jar will have a teachers name on it. The three teachers with the most money in thier jars on Oct 21st will have to kiss a cow in front of all the students on Oct 22nd. Second, we will again be selling Yankee Candles. Order forms should be arriving the first week of October. We will have delivery for the holidays!
